Abstract (EN)
The arsenic colemanite samples Etibor A.Ş. used in this study, has been provided by Emet, Kütahya. Bioleaching method was applied to remove arsenic by Colemanite. Pseudomonas putida and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria have been used which are isolated from the soil samples taken from the garden University of Çukurova, Faculty of Science. In the Bioleaching tests, pH, mV (potential change), temperature and arsenic concentration values were measured. With the increased pH in the Bioleaching experiments, the solvation efficiency of arsenic has increased.Bacteria revealed arsenic by breaking colemanite into pieces for using calcium and sulfur as a food source. At the end of the the 7 day bioleaching process the best removal efficiency of bioleaching tests were obtained by P. putida bacteria (99,10%). As for that The experiment done with P. aeruginosa, at the end of the 6 day bioleaching process (85,06%) were obtained.
