The sudden effects of combined warm-up activities to main aerobic power performances

Abstract (EN)

Before starting practice or before a match in all sports events, there are a set of preparations. These preparations are called warm up. The importance of warm up is widely known and accepted by every authority. In all sports activities, warm up, static stretching and dynamic exercises are commonly done before starting any practice or competition.In this thesis, the effects of the pre-warm up and warm up on chıldren?s anaerobic capacity is explored. Various warm-up techniques followed by stretching exercises are applied to research if the stretching exercises have pozitive effects on the performance or not.During the process of study, after giving literature information on warm up, energy systems and motor skills, the kids? height and weight were measured. In the next phase zig-zag çeviklik, long jump, high jump, 20m speed tests were applied to the test group and the control group protocols. All the tests were applied to all the kids three times. And then the kids? elasticity was measured on elasticity chair by the means of Sit & Reach test. The results have been analysed with SPSS programme. Mean value, standart deviation, minimum and maximum values of all the variables are calculated.In this study, general warm up protocol is the control group and the other warm up protocols are designed as the test groups. ANNOVA test is applied with repetitive measurements to find the difference between the warming up stretching protocols and then BENFORRONİ test has been applied to find the warming protocol which creates the difference.In thıs study especially it was observed that the power production of children arised with the dynamic warm-up activities. After the warm-up activities done for children the static stretching activities for 15 minutes effects leap frog, high jump and 20m speed tests negatively. It is considered that hyphothesis is right. Nonetheless after the warm-up activities done for children the dynamic exercises for 15 minutes effects leap frog, high jump and 20m speed tests positively. It is considered that the hyphothesis is correct. After the warm-up activities ndone for children the combination of static stretching exercises and dynamic exercises for 15 minutes effect leap frog, high jump and 20m speed tests positively. It is seen that the hypothesis is correct.
