Abstract (EN)

Composite Materials are material groups which result from combination of at least two different materials for a certain purpose. The purpose of this combination in three-dimensional character is to obtain a feature that normally does not exist in none of the component. In other words, it is aimed to produce a material which has more outstanding features for aimed direction. Its usage area is growing day by day and now surgery operations and applications also take part in. With this study, it is aimed to compare the bending and pulling features which occur in the usage of composite materials in mouth, face and chin surgery. Moreover, the usage of composite materials that are constituted as new generation for chin surgery and tissue loss of face as main factor and application material will be researched. In case that metal materials and implant upper structures that are used as plaque in chin surgery will be used as composite material, their sufficiency will be compared with similar metal groups and a comparison will be made with regards to mechanic material features, lifetime and endurance. Thus, it is aimed to extend the usage area of composite materials in contrast with similar metal groups.
