Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, investigation of the effects of the delaminations and cut-outs on the free vibration response and buckling load of the laminated composite plates is aimed. For this purpose, specimens have been prepared in order to examine the effect of number, shape and location of the cut-outs on the free vibration response and their natural frequencies have been determined experimentally. In addition, the effects of the shape, number and location of the delaminations and cut-outs on the free vibration response and buckling load of the laminated composite plates have been examined numerically. ANSYS 14.5 software has been used in the numerical studies. A computer code has been developed for modeling and finite element analyses by using APDL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language). It is seen that there is a good harmony between the experimental and numerical results.
