Abstract (EN)
As the population increases and the technology develops, so does our need for electricity. Approximately thirty percent of the electricity produced in our country is produced in coal fired power plants. Thermal power plants are classified as very dangerous workplaces under the occupational health and Safety law and precautions are needed. In this study, general information about the occupational health and safety practices in thermal power plants were presented in detail. Field studies were performed based on the information gathered from the field studies.
