Co-opetition implementation in the accommodation companies: A research in cappadocia region

The main aim of this assignment is the study of the application of co-opetition and to introduce the advantage of cooperation and competition which are used together in accommodation enterprises. Qualititive research methods have been used. 4-5 stars (24 hotels) which are constitution of research universe. Research universe is available because of this, full-count sample method has been used as a sample of method. The research data were obtained by face to face interviewing technique from 18 hotel manager which are from the Cappadocia Region. Descriptive analysis is used with analysis of survey data. The participant considered that co-opetition implement is important for Cappadocia Region?s expanded tourism pie. Participant considered which they have no sufficient knowledge and experiences abouth how they use co-opetition. Besides they agree with that professional organizations can be guide for themselves. According to participant, co-opetititons?s implement basic barrier is unsufficient knowledge and preventive approach of Competition Authority. Co-opetition can be used with accommodation companies but first of all for critical idea needed for the implementation of co-opetition. The other important result, there are lots of benefit when co-opetition is used with accomadation enterprise so that, higher quality, employee training, beter service and reinvent of themselves.
