Abstract (EN)

Ruminants that are often experienced in patients with congenital anomalies has been reported by several researchers of which they are a large part of the digestive system abnormalities. Preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative findings of the 60 atresia coli patients included in our study were evaluated. Within the scope of preoperative laboratory analysis; For blood analysis of the calves' vena jugularis, 2 ml of EDTA tubes were taken to the blood gas injector containing lithium heparin for blood gas analysis and 2 ml citrate tubes for coagulation factors (PT, APTT and FIB). The analyzes were performed with a hemogram device (Diatron Abacus Junior Vet 5), blood gas device (Irma Trupoint Blood Gas Analyzer), coagulation device (Bejing Precil Semi-automatic coagulometer with 4 channels, Guanzgzhou). The results of the analyzes were evaluated with SPSS 22.0 statistical program and the differences between healthy and atresia coli calves were determined by Independent T-test and nonparametric test was evaluated by Mann Whitney U test because of the normal distribution of the parameters. Statistical significance was set at p <0.05. Of the 60 atresia coli calves included in the study, 78% were male and 22% were female. In 95% of calves Holstein, it was found to be 5% Swissbrown.. Colostomy was applied to 13 calves with Atresia coli. One calf who underwent colostomy operation died during the operation, it was found that 3 calves lived 15 days later and the remaining 9 calves died in a short time postoperatively. The hematological, biochemical and coagulation parameters of healthy and atresia coli calves and postoperative survival indices were evaluated; It was determined that DIC could occur in cases where PT and APTT were prolonged and consequently it affected the prognosis by increasing mortality in calves with anomalies. It was concluded that preoperative evaluation of coagulation factors is important prognosticly in atresia coli calves.
