Abstract (EN)
Environmental circumstances are very important to store goods. Raw materials stored in big size chemical silos are kept while preventing effects of extraordinary circumstances caused by temperature, moisture, pressure parameters. Sensors those who are used for measuring those parameters are necessary for keeping those materials. Information of those parameters are controlled by a control unit. It's needed to have a central communication network to inspect silos when there are many silos in site. Communication protocol CAN supports to have a control on this multi node system and to have this kind of network. In this thesis, we have designed a silo control system to control filling and storing chemical materials in silo system by using CAN communication protocol, and designed a sensor network working on CAN protocol to inspect this silo control system. CAN communication protocol with a sensor network designed to monitor the silo control system has been realized. Access to a network of 112 grain silos sensor unit is supported CAN line. CAN communication line connecting the silo unit connected to the computer network via an ETHERNET connection is provided through inspection facilities SCADA systems. ETHERNET connections through work in silos owned by more than 112 course units are supported to increase the multi-sensor network.
