Nowadays, with the developments in audio technologies, speech recognition has been started to be used in many areas. As a result of the educational positive effects of visual and audio technologies, these technologies are included in every stage of education system. Considering these technologies provides children learning with fun it becomes important in pre-school education. Consideration this in thesis, it?s aimed to reflect some advantages pre-school education such as using hardware independent-speech recognition technologies. Setting out with this aim in this thesis, sample innovations in the area of speech recognition technology are aimed to be applied to the pre-school education. With the help of improved software, it?s aimed to achieve students cognitive gains in pre-school curriculum with hardware independent keyboard, mouse and so on.The software in visual studio C# programming language is prepared in two parts of subject and application. In order to increase visual effects, flash files prepared with Flash CS3 program are used in C# program. Speech recognition is provided with the trial version of Dikte Software Company.
