Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was found that the behavior of male and female individuals in the context of behavioral economics prefers housing as two distinct gender. Erzincan province, central district and connected towns constitute the universe of the study. Individuals residing in Erzincan province were divided into lower, middle and upper income groups and stratified samples were formed. The sample size was determined as 396, and the horizontal section data obtained by the subsequent survey study were SPSS 21 and LISREL8.72 package programs were analyzed. The results of structural equality model analyses revealed that demographic and economic conditions, primary needs, access to secondary needs, social environment and neighbourhood, indoor use and outdoor use of both male and female individuals had a positive effect on the external hidden variables of housing preference. In the context of behavioral economics, it was determined that women and men did not behave significantly differently in housing preferences. All men and women in Erzincan province are completely rational in housing preferences.
