Abstract (EN)
With this thesis, it is aimed to make the restoration of traditional adobe structures with original adobe material and also with new materials to be obtained by improving the properties of adobe material. In this context, the availability of traditional adobe mortar in the restoration by improving its properties with lime, gypsum, cement and wool additives was investigated. It was determined by the literature research that the properties of mud brick, mudbrick plaster and rammed earth materials were improved by adobe stabilization by adding various additives. Within the scope of the thesis, it was investigated to improve the properties of adobe mortar and repair mortar by adding additives. In order to investigate the suitability of the mortars to be used for restoration applications, Konya Türbeönü houses have been identified as research areas. Historical mudbrick houses are located in the district of Türbeönü in Konya region and they have been registered and taken under protection. The experimental study conducted within the scope of the study includes chemical and petrographic material analyzes, physical and mechanical performance tests on adobe mortar and adobe samples, and diagonal shear tests on wallettes.
