Evaluation of acute phase response in dogs with aspirin induced gastric mucosal injury

ÖZ Köpeklerde akut gastrik mukozal hasarlarda akut faz yanıtın değerlendirildiği bu alışmada, yaşlan 8 ay ile 16 ay arasında değişen klinik açıdan sağlıklı 10 melez köpek Kullanıldı. C-reaktif protein (CRP), serum amyloid A (SAA), haptoglobin (Hp), fibrinojen Fb), total protein, albumin, demir ve total lökosit düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla öpeklere oral yolla 200 mg/kg tek doz aspirin uygulaması öncesi (0. gün) ve sonrası 1., 4. ve. günlerde kan örnekleri toplandı. Uygulama sonrası 1. gün yapılan endoskopik Muayenelerde köpeklerin tamamının mide mukozalarında farklı sayı ve lokalizasyonlarda emorajik karakterde lineer erozyonlara rastlanırken; CRP, SAA, Hp, Fb konsantrasyonları ve Dtal lökosit sayısında önemli artış, serum demir konsantrasyonunda önemli azalma belirlendi, otal protein ve albumin konsantrasyonlarındaki değişimler istatistiksel olarak önemli değildi, sonuç olarak; akut faz proteinlerin, köpeklerde aspirinin neden olduğu gastrik mukozal.asarın seyrinin izlenmesinde gastroskopi ile birlikte kullanılabileceği kanısına varıldı. Anahtar Kelimeler: Köpek, aspirin, gastrik mukozal hasar, akut faz proteinler ABSTRACT In this study in which acute phase response was evaluated in dogs with acute gastric lucosal injury, 10 clinically healthy cross-bred dogs aging between 8 to 16 months were.sed. After the administration of aspirin at a dose of 200 mg/kg for once orally, blood samples /ere collected before (day 0) and at the days 1, 4 and 7 in order to determine C-reactive rotein (CRP), serum amyloid A (SAA), haptoglobin (Hp), fibrinogen (Fb), total protein, Ibumin, iron and total leukocyte levels. In endoscopic examinations performed at the first ay after the administration, hemorrhagic linear erosions were noticed in different numbers nd localizations at gastric mucosa of all dogs, furthermore, significant increases in CRP, IAA, Hp, Fb concentrations and total leukocyte count were determined, serum iron oncentration was decreased. Changes in total protein and albumin concentrations were not tatistically significant. It was concluded that, acute phase proteins can be used with astroscopy in observation the course of aspirin-induced gastric mucosal injury.
