Linguistic analysis on the Pamir Kyrgyz version of Göruğlu Epic

Linguistic Analysis on the Pamir Kyrgyz Version of Göruğlu Epic, PhD Thesis, Ardahan, 2023 In this study, which was prepared as a doctoral thesis, the linguistic features of the Göruğlu Epic belonging to the Pamir Kyrgyz were examined. The study generally consists of five main parts: Introduction, Language Analysis, Conclusion, Text and Transfer, Index-Dictionary. In the introduction part, the subject, purpose, method, limitation of the study, other studies on the subject, the standard language and dialects of the Kyrgyz language, the place of the Köroğlu Epic in the general Turkish epic tradition, the variants of the epic and the general characteristics of the Pamir Kyrgyz Epic of Göruğlu are discussed. The Language Analysis section is the most basic part of the study. This part consists of three main sections: Phonology, Morphology and Vocabulary. In the conclusion part, the result of these three main parts of the Language Analysis section is summarized and presented. In the Text and Translation section, there is the version of the Göruğlu Epic compiled by S. Kayıpov, belonging to the Pamir Kyrgyz, and the translation of this text into Türkiye Turkish made by me. In the Index-Dictionary section, the meanings of the words in the text in Türkiye Turkish, their conjugations and page numbers are given by modern lexicography methods. The study ends with the Reference and CV sections.
