Abstract (EN)

This research aims to look into the impact of probiotics on some biochemical parameters in patients with the Coronavirus. The experimental design was conducted on 60 people divided into six groups (each consisting of 10 people), in addition to healthy Control with 0 probiotics (normal healthy individuals), the other groups were: Patients with Coronavirus (patients infected with COVID-19), Biolact, (Healthy individuals received Biolact probiotics orally 1 sachet per day), Saccharomyces boulardii (Healthy individuals received Saccharomyces boulardii probiotics orally 1 capsule per day), Patients Coronavirus+ Biolact (this group after infection treated with Biolact probiotics orally 1 sachet per day), Patients Coronavirus + Saccharomyces boulardii (this group after infection treated with Saccharomyces boulardii probiotics orally 1 capsule per day), for 21 days. Data of the current study revealed the highest mean levels of IgM were at groups COVID-19 (1.98±0.33), COVID-19 and Biolactat probiotic (0.73±0.10), and COVID-19 and Yeast probiotic (0.33±0.08) respectively, compared to controls with significantly different (LSD 0.40). Based on IgG, the highest mean levels were at groups COVID-19 and Yeast probiotic (80.70±3.79), COVID-19, and Biolactat probiotic (74.70±6.75) and COVID-19 (41.71±10.55) respectively, compared to controls with significantly different (LSD 20.07). We can conclude that probiotics have a significant positive impact on people suffering from Covid 19 infections.
