Analysis of the condition of the education system of Azerbaijan based on teachers`view during the period of the coronavirus pandemic

The dissertation work includes the study of Azerbaijan`s education system in accordance with the views of teachers during the coronavirus pandemic process. For this purpose, first of all, the educational system of Azerbaijan in the pre-pandemic period and during the pandemic period was studied from a theoretical point of view. In the introductory part of the thesis, subheadings such as the subject of the thesis, the purpose and importance of the research, the method and limitations were determined. The universe, sample, data collection tools and analysis methods of the thesis were included in the "Method" section of the thesis. The universe of the study is composed of teachers working in 20 schools in Ganja City, and the sample of the study is 200 teachers selected by a simple random method from among the teachers working in the school's questionnaire. In the research, a mixed research model was used in which both qualitative and quantitative data were used. In the "Findings and Comments" section of the thesis, the answers of the teachers who participated in the survey study to the survey questions were examined and described in general and in accordance with criteria such as age, gender, seniority and educational level. These are some of the main findings of the research: - During the pandemic period, the transition from traditional education to distance education caused serious problems such as lack of plans, resistance to innovation, fear of obscurity, lack of knowledge and vision, inability to accept the pandemic, lack of infrastructure as a result of the fact that Azerbaijan's education system was caught unprepared. - As a result of the research, it is seen that the use of digital technologies in education has increased during the pandemic process. - Young teachers expressed an opinion that the duration of the lesson is short.
