Özet (EN)
Occurring in the coronary arteries and peripheral artery atherosclerosis worldwide, is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality. Risk factors that are important in the development of atherosclerosis also independent risk factor for aortic valve stenosis in which the age, male gender, weight, hypertension, smoking and LDL elevation is located. The purpose of this study, for the development of coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis, triglyceride and LDL cholesterol levels that pose a risk to patients undergoing heart valve surgery between patients with coronary artery disease is the comparison and interpretation of the results. This study was made retrospectively on aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, combined aortic and mitral valve replacement and coronary artery bypass surgery patients by Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Cardiovascular Surgery Department. In our study of 160 patients, coronary and valvular discussed as a group and are divided into two groups of 80 valuable. These two groups, gender, age, weight, height, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, smoking history, and finally in terms of LDL and triglyceride values were questioned and compared. The average age in the group of coronary operations were found to be at a higher rate. And female gender has higher prevalence in patients with valve operation. BMI, smoking, hypertension, hyperlipidemia been diagnosed preoperatively did not differ between the two groups. Only diabetes has a significantly higher prevalence in patients with valve operation. LDL levels in both groups, no significant differences were found in terms, triglyceride levels were significantly higher in the coronary group. These results shows that an important public health problem of the etiologies of coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease both are need to be researched more in about many ways.
