Özet (EN)

The biggest reason for coronary artery disease (CAD), one of the most deadly disease is atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is pathological process in which preventing normal blood flow by blocking vessel lumen because of the accumulatin lipid particles. With the occurence of atherosclerosis at coronary artery called coronary artery disease.Visfatin is a regulatory adipokin protein secreted by fat tissue and it has been found to pro-infammatory efect. Visfatin gene, located 7q22.2 is 34.7 genomic DNA, and has 10 introns and 11 exons. It is indicated that visfation could be marker for CAD.Omentin a newly discovered adipokines secreted mainly by adipose tissue increases insulin sensitivity. In human omentin located 1. chromosome secreted by adipose tissue in lung, small intestine and heart, and has 8 exons and 7 introns. Up to date, there is just one SNP (single nükleotide polymorphsim) reported in literature. It is estimated that Omentin could be markers for CAD like visfatin. In this study the effect of omentin on CAD will investigate at protein and genetic levels. Then the correlation between these data also will investigate. The omentin level in peripheral blood will be determined by ELISA. Polymorphism will be determined using DNA obtained from blood.
