Abstract (EN)
The study area is located in south of İzmir-Ankara suture and west of Anatolid tectonic belt, which is covered the northern side of Menderes Masif and arround of Karakoca, Koyunoba towns which are district of Kütahya, western Anatolia. Straticraphic units of study area are Paleazoic Metamorphics, Mesozoic Calc, Tertiary Koyunoba granitoid, Neogene Volcanics and Quaternary Allivium. The Karakoca Pb-Zn deposite has polymetallic vein-type mineralization which iz formed intraplutonic in Koyunoba pluton. The colour of pluton is changeable in its own. Its colour is gray, gren-gray, light brown and yellow and it has features and shear zones. The hydrothermal polymetallic vein-type mineralization is occured in tectonic borders, where the E-W trending faults are intrsected the N-S trending faults and it is almost 3 km. west /northwest of Karakoca town. The main polymetallic vein has 1.5 km. length and the other veins are paralel to main vein. Their lenngth is between 50- 100 m. The main vein is controlled by a fault which is N 350 W strike and approximately 650 SW dip. In vein structure ore is generally massive and colloformcrustform shape (Footwall of vein) but The hangingwall sidet of vein consist of breccia and stockverk type ore with galena, hematite and quartz content. The common ore minerals are galena, sphalerite, pyrite and chalcopyrite and the other ore minerals are magnetite, ilmenite, rutile, hematite, bornite, cuprite, fahlerz and gangue mineral is quartz. Secondary minerals which are formed by surface alteration, are limonite, goethite, malachite, azurite, chalcocite, covellite, anglezite and serizite. Key words: Menderes Masif, Koyunoba Pluton, Hydrothermal, Polymetallic Vein- Type Mineralization.
