The same Guidance was applied to both groups. At the follow-ups, The smoking cessation of workers have been identified at 6th month reaching by telephone. Statistical analyses were performed with SPSS 19.0 software. It was determined that there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of variables, when compared to charecteristics of workers in group and individual smoking cessation intervention groups (p>0,05). Groups were homogenous/similar. Even though the rates of control attendance, medicine use and quitting smoking are higher for workers in the group smoking cessation intervention compared to individual smoking cessation intervention, the differences were not statistically significant (p>0,05). Smoking cessation rate is higher in trying to quit with medicine than the ones attempting without medication (p<0,001).
