Reflection of the art of compliment on meaning in the context of kirâat differences: The example of Surah al Bakara

This study, which deals with the art of compliment in the example of al-Baqara within the framework of the phenomenon of recitation, consists of an intro-duction and three parts. In the introduction part, preliminary information is given to form a basis for the basic structure of the study.In the first chapter, in which a brief presentation of the history of recitation is made, first of all, the description, subject, benefits, purpose and judgment of the science of recitation are mentioned, and then, by dividing it into three periods, including its activity in the period of descent, the emergence of the differences in recitation in a historical course with brief and concise information. tried to be explained.In the second part, which includes some basic in-formation about rhetoric and compliment; After a brief introduction about the science of rhetoric, the art of compliment was introduced. In this context, by considering the conditions of the art of compliment, each condition was explained in detail with two examples, and the eloquent subtleties and literary beauties of the art of compliment in the Qur'anic composition were tried to be conveyed in the light of commentaries. Likewise, in the third part, which forms the backbone of our study, compli-ments caused by transitions within the same recitation or between recitations in the example of al-Baqara Surah in the context of qira'at-i ashare have been identified, and the richness of meaning hidden between words and meanings in the verses in which the compliment is determined has been tried to be mentioned when appropri-ate. Thus, it has been tried to explain with examples how strong the connection be-tween compliments and recitations is in understanding the verses of the Qur'an.
