Credit card cheats and countermeasures taken

Today, the globalizing world and the history of mankind have faced many different forms of tricks and corruption have developed a lot of struggle . Along with developments in world economy and technology there is an increase in fraud and corruption. The effects of globalization are not only observed on a micro scale but also on an international scale. Profession groups such as auditing and forensic accounting have a large workload .Due to getting negative effect of tecnology,froud and corruption are getting more complicated day by day. Both the reason for this problem and the solution unite in a common result which are Technological development and humanity. Therefore accounting, forensic accounting, auditing, law, psychology, sociology, marketing, economics, engineering and information document technology etc. work with all occupational groups. Along with Increasing use of credit card, The Credit Card frauds are getting raised. The credit Card users face serious financal losses. In the first part of the study, the means of payment are mentioned, in the second part, the definitions and historical development of the credit card, the credit card tricks and countermeasures, the benefits of the parties and the points that the parties should pay attention to counterfeiting are investigated. In the last section, the cases that were the subject of Çorum Court Courts were examined. The aim of this study is; To give information about how to make credit card tricks and how to protect them. There are many credit card frauds happens from various aspects such as complexity of technology ora buse of good intentions of people. The case files which had been subject to the Çorum Court Courts were examined as case studies.
