Abstract (EN)

In today, payment systems and instruments are becoming widespread. Payment instruments that do not require cash use are used in a wide payment area such as institutional payments, public transportation payments, and payments to food and beverage vending machines except for the shopping. The top of these payment instruments are credit cards that offer contactless transaction capability, remote payment, online payment, and so on. Credit cards are also becoming a form of financing in order to it offers installment payment opportunity, cash advance and minimal payment. It was explained that historical processes and concepts related to credit cards in the first part and payment systems and financing instruments in the second part of the study. In the third part of the study, questionnaires were applied to real and legal persons who are card users and various statistical analyzes were performed. Also, it was tried to investigate how credit cards users use credit cards and examined problems related to credit cards. As a result, it was determined that credit cards are perceived by users as a form of financing and they are the top priority in terms of collection.
