Mythical elements in the archaic epics of Kyrgyz Turks

Epics are the works of literature, which have been formationed with to be aestheticated by a poet, subsequently an events long living in oral tradation afterwards profoundly effected whole nation. They can be classified in two groups, which callad classical and archaic in the context of their contents? primitiveness. Archaic epics are important origins in analysing the mythologies of the communities.Kyrgyz field is highly influential and living area in the Turkish epic tradition. İn this research, it was determied, classified and analysied that the elements belonging to Turkish mythology, which are in the archaic epics of Kyrgyz Turks, whose names are Boston, Kocacaş, Er Töştük and Coodarbeşim. İt was tried to make information basing these mythical elements with harmonizing Turkish world?s various historical and geograficial extensions. With this characteristic, the study is a discovering research.İn the first part of the study, it was argued that the concepts such as epic, arcahic epic and mythology, it was informed about the variants and plots of the four epics which have been included by the research. The mythological elements, determined in the epics, have been gathered in three parts which are ?sky, ground and underground? according to the parts of Turkish cosmological perception, they were defined and it was tried to have get the meanings what they had. These groups respectively formed second part of the studies involved topics.
