Abstract (EN)
The study was planned and applied in methodological type in order to determine validity and reliability of the Scale to Determine the Level of Crisis Intervention (SDLCI) developed by the investigator to determine the level of crisis intervention. The sample of the study consisted of 110 individuals who applied to Crisis Intervention Teams affiliated to the General Secretary of the Public Hospitals of Manisa at the date on which the study was performed and agreeing to participate voluntarily in the study. Sample selection was considered as unnecessary in the study. Informative Data Sheet, Scale to Determine the Level of Crisis Intervention (SDLCI), and Beck's Depression Scale (BDS) were used as data collecting tool in the present study. A form of 23 items was created to determine content validity of the scale by using Lawshe's technique. In validity and reliability evaluation of the SDLCI, it was found that content validity index (CVI) was 0,90, concordance validity with the BDS was 0,789, Cronbach's alpha co-efficient giving the internal consistency was 0,916 and that Item-Total correlation score for which inter-item correlation co-efficients were marked positively ranged between 0,32 and 0,82. As a consequence of exploratory factor analysis, the Scale to Determine the Level of Crisis Intervention (SDLCI) was seen to consist of 2 items. Considering the items in each domain of the scale, the first factor was named "Determination of caring level ", the second factor "Determination of risk condition". Based on these data, it was concluded that the Scale to Determine the Level of Crisis Intervention (SDLCI) was a valid and reliable scale
