Webb, Puccinellia intermedia (Schur) Janchen,Alyssum sibiricum Wılld, Genista aucheri Boiss ve Euphorbia hirsuta L. plantssamples and soil samples where plants are growing, were collected in and around theKırka (Eskişehir) Borate Mine for exploring the new borate mines that has usedstrategic importance and widely in a lot of industry fields from chemistry to thespace and aeronautics. The B, Li, Sr, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ni and Co contents of plant andsoil samples were determined, and the biogeochemical anomalies of them wereinvestigated. Element contents of the plant samples were compared with the elementlevel of the soil samples, then indicator plants were foundet. As a result of theevaluations, the determined indicator plants were, P.intermedia (Schur) Janchenplant species (n=17, r=0.7274), twigs of G. aucheri Boiss (n=26, r=0.7934) and leafsof P. nigra Arn. (n=16, r=0.,6805) for B; twigs of G. aucheri Boiss (n =18,r=0.6214), both twigs (n=24, r=0.7267) and leafs (n=20, r=0.8293) of J. oxicedrus L.subsp. and leafs of the P. nigra Arn. (n=19, r=0.6655) for Li; J. oxicedrus L. subsp.plant species (n= 16, r=0.6824), leafs of the E. hirsuta L. (n=14, r= 0.7511) andbranches of P. nigra Arn. (n=16, r = 0.8567) for Sr; twigs of G. perfoliata L. (n=13,r=0.7915) for Mn. However there is no statistical relations were established betweenthe Cu, Zn, Ni and Co values of plant and soil samples.Key Words: Biogeochemistry, B, Li, Sr, Mn, indicator plant, Kırka (Eskişehir)II
