Abstract (EN)
In this study, environmentally friendly disposal methods to minimize harmfulness of solid wastes were investigated. These methods were evaluated for municipal solid waste in Kırıkkale city. Type and description of solid waste and valuation methods were shown. Disposal of municipal solid waste in Kırıkkale city by using thermal technologies was thought as the best solution from environmental and economical aspects. Modern disposal method was proposed to disposal solid waste in Kırıkkale city. It was concluded that the landfill plant thought to be built in Kırıkkale city would not be useful both from the economical and the enviromental aspects.
