Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, increasing of plant performance was investigated by applying with a combination of spirals, shaking tables and hydrocylone. The chromite sample used in the experiments obtained from Kösbucağı village, Erdemli, Mersin. XRD analyses showed that the two main minerals were Serpantin and Chromite. The slime material (-0.050 mm) which has a negative effect on the experiments were removed from process with a hydrocyclon. The ore with a 3.5% Cr2O3 grade was processed by a combination of spirals+hydrocyclone+shaking tables and a concentrate was obtained with 48.46% Cr2O3, 15.10% Fe2O3, 21.40% Al2O3 and 2.90% SiO2 at the optimimum operating conditions (particle size: -1 mm, capacity: 24 t/day, Splitter angle: 3.5 cm and %25 solids) from run of mine ore; concentrate were obtained as
