Investi̇gati̇on of serum and sali̇va decori̇n level i̇n chroni̇c renal fai̇lure pati̇ents

Chronic renal failure that increasing insidance day by day is an important public health problem. Until today, many peptid/proteins were depended to be rol of etiopathogenesis of renal failure. But, when we performed a literatüre scanning, we saw no research about a protein molecule called decorin whether has a role of end stage renal failure etiopathogenesis .in this study, our main purpose investigation of serum and saliva decorin level in chronic renal failure decorin is whether Rolling of this disease etiopathogenesis. İn literatüre , no data were found similar to our study İn Fırat unıversıty medıcıne faculty general medicine, nephrology department 30 patient according to GFR stage 3,4,5 chronic renal failure patient and 30 healty people were included. We get blood and saliva sample from all individual. Decorin level was measured in all samples. We made a comparison between groups. Serum and saliva decorin levels were campared. Serum decorin levels in stage 5 patients, was significantly higher than control group and stage 3, 4 patients(p<0.05) saliva decorin levels in respectively in stage 3,4,5 patients were significantly lower than control groups (p<0.05) it was thought that there is a relationship between chronic renal failure pathophysiology and decorin levels Key Words: Chronic Renal Failure, Decorin
