Abstract (EN)

In this study, A total of 75 patients with the diagnosis of COPD were randomly included. Age, gender, educational status, place of residence, duration of illness, smoking status, follow-up by pulmonologist, type of device used, satisfaction with the drug, adequate inhalation, correct breathing, mouth washing and total scores were included in the study. The demographic characteristics of the patients, whether they received any training on the use of the inhaler device, and if so, who provided the training; The questionnaire was filled with questions about the usage steps of the inhaler and questions about the stage of the device usage and why they made mistakes. Patients were evaluated according to disease duration, follow-up the pulmonologist, and device installation, adequate inhalation, breath holding, mouth washing and total score.
