Özet (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to reseach of effectiveness of suprascapular nerve blockage (SSNB) on patiens with chronic scapular pain as retrospectively.Materials and Methods: In this study, 28 patients who are taken suprascapular nerve blockage are evaluated as retrospectively at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Anaesthesia and Reanimation Department Algology Clinic in 2007-2008. Age, weight, height and sex of patients are recorded. The period of a disease, count of SSNB, application VAS value, 15th, 90th and 180th days VAS values are recorded. Suprascapular nerve blockages are applied with periferic nerve stimulator at guide of anatomic point by Dangoisse methods. Five ml 0.5% bupivakain (marcain®) and 80mg triamsinolon asetat (kenacort®) with mixture 3ml normal saline (total 10 ml) are applied. In the evaluation of pain, VAS are used. 15th, 90th and 180th days VAS values are recorded in pretreatment and posttreatment. Results: 15th VAS values of all patients are compared with pretreatment and posttreatment. 15th VAS values of posttreatment are decrease significantly (p<0.05). 90th VAS values of all patients are compared with pretreatment and posttreatment. 90th VAS values of posttreatment are decrease significantly (p<0.05). 180th VAS values of all patients are compared with pretreatment and posttreatment. 180th VAS values of posttreatment are decrease significantly (p<0.05). In according to 90th VAS values of posttreatment, 180th VAS values of posttreatment are increase significantly (p<0.05). At man patients differently woman patients, according to 15th VAS values of posttreatment, 90th VAS values of posttreatment are decrease significantly (p<0.05).Conclusion: :In this study, 15th, 90th and 180th days VAS values are decrease significantly. 180th VAS values of posttreatment are higher than 90th VAS value. 180th VAS values of posttreatment are fewer than pretreatment VAS values significantly. In conclusion, SNBB that with local aneasthesia and steroid is a good alternative to control of chronic suprascapular pain.
