The example of Lisinia Nature Project in the development process from social entrepreneurship to branding in rural areas

In the study, the Lisinia Nature project, which is an isolated example in Turkey, was made the subject. The aim of the study is to observe the development of the foundation, which started as a social entrepreneurship project, to branding and to contribute the results obtained from this observation to the literature. As part of the study, an in-depth interview was conducted with the founder and executive director of the project. The obtained data were analyzed by means of a content analysis with the MAXQDA program. According to the data obtained, the Lisinia Nature Project is an example of hybrid social organizations among the hybrid organizations that form the lower wing of social entrepreneurship. It is an important example of a social enterprise that gives priority to disadvantaged groups, finding solutions to society's social problems and providing advice and training on the subject on a voluntary basis. They also contribute to rural tourism through national and international volunteerism. They also provide jobs for local people. By increasing both employment and awareness of the region, they make an important economic contribution to the region and society by enabling the revitalization of rural tourism. They see that they have entered the branding process in order to expand their field of activity and reach more people with more products. However, since they do not think it is right to offer natural products with clean content on the Internet or on sales pages, they keep their distribution network limited. This slows down the branding process.
