Abstract (EN)

The changes in social and economic conditions causes irregular and intence urbanization increase. As a result of this the places for people are getting lost, decrease and the life standards are getting lower. Because of this the recreation areas which people can rest and breath, become physically and physiologically refreshed are getting more important. The aim of this study is to define the users, density of users, the activities they attend, the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, the user specialties on this factors and the changes on this factors according to rural and urban recreation areas. On this study Bolu Gölcük Recreation Area was chosen as rural recreation area and Düzce İnönü Parkı chosen as urban recreation area. 250 face to face questionnaires for Gölcük Rural Recreation Area and 250 face to face questionnaires for Düzce İnönü Park were made to find out use satisfaction and dissatisfactions after using these areas. Tukey test and ANOVA analysis had been used to find out the differences between the rural and urban recreational area uses. Also, correlation analysis was done to find out the relation between the user characteristic and user satisfaction and dissatisfactions factors. The results are shown in charts. According to results, satisfaction and dissatisfaction factors of rural and urban recreation areasare affected by user characteristics. Also, there are some differences between the satisfaction factors of rural and urban recreation areas.Key Words: User Satisfaction, Recreation, Bolu Gölcük Rural Recreation Area, Düzce İnönü Parkı.
