Qunatum writing technique effect on primary education writing abilities and clinical practices ın 7th grade students

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of quantum writing technique on students' writing attitude and writing success and to add a new method to the literary framework. In the study, experimental design method with pre-test and post-test control group was used. Fifty one students (girl = 51) who learn Turkish lesson in seventh class in 2016-2017 academic year were included in this study and 1 study group and 1 control group were composed. The study and control group consisted of 26 and 25 students respectively. In the study group Quantum Writing Technique based on Quantum Learning Model (QLM) was applied, while traditional (classical) writing technique was applied in control group. The research continued for eight weeks in an elementary school in the district of Agri / Central. Data of the research (Attitude Towards Writing Scale and Analytical Scoring Key) were collected and the t-test was used to analyze the data. The following results were obtained in the study: There was a significant difference between the pre- and posttest scores of the study and control groups. There was no statistically significant difference between the study and control groups in terms of the pre-test average scores. There was a statistically significant difference between the study and control groups in terms of the post-test average scores. There was a statistically significant difference between the pre and post achievement test scores in the study group, but no statistically significant difference was found in the control group. Seven different methods have been tried during the study period. The writing ability was tested by giving the same subject to the study and control groups. A statistically significant difference was observed between the study and control groups in all of the applied methods in term of the mean scores. This study showed that the students in the study group were more successful and had higher scores than the control group.
