This thesis aimed to investigate and study the " Mukhtasar talkhis al- Muftah " by Imam Nur al-Din Hamzah bin Darghoud al-Aydini, famous for Nour al-Din Kuchuk (d.: 981 AH). The importance of the study comes from the fact that it sheds light on the book " Talkhis al-Muftah " by al-Qazwini, which is considered the mayor in the books of rhetoric, as it is one of the important abbreviations of this book. He divided it according to Al-Khatib Al-Qazwini into three sections: the first in the science of meanings, the second in the science of statement, and the third in the science of al-Badi. at that time, it was one of the basic books on rhetoric in the Ottoman schools. Because of this importance, there is almost no written copy of it preserved in most Turkish libraries. The study also sheds light on a personality immersed in the books of biographies, who lived at a time when the Ottoman Empire reached the peak of its power during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, during which the author taught in the most prestigious schools in Bursa and Istanbul, and held the position of fatwa at that time. The researcher followed the historical descriptive approach when extrapolating and presenting the biographical and scientific biography of Imam Hamza Al- Aydini, and the method of investigation and commentary in the investigated text when comparing copies and proving their authenticity, and reliance was made on four manuscript copies from various libraries. The sayings were returned to their sources, and the Quranic verses, poetic verses, hadiths and sayings mentioned in the text were extracted, and comments were made on rhetorical issues raised by Al-Aydini with the aim of clarification. Among the most prominent findings of the study are the following: The book of Al- Aydini came abbreviated in the simplest form and the easiest phrase to make it easier to memorize for students of knowledge, and the copies of the book Al-Masalak reached (27) copies, and its explanation (70) written copies, the number of verses cited by the author reached (163) verses, and the number of poetic verses (141) verses, and Proverbs and Hadiths (20) for example and Hadith, and all his inferences are dominated by the Islamic character, the author relied heavily on mentioning the opinion of the owner of the summary of the key (Al-Qazwini), and the owner of the key to the sciences (Al-Sakaki). He also conveyed the opinion of other scholars and he preferred among them. He was exposed to scientific issues in the arts of rhetoric, discussed them and proved his opinion on them. Also, his footnotes (Hashiyah) conveyed a large amount of scientific material from books and contained rhetorical notes and a deep analysis, which is considered a great addition to the Islamic linguistic library .He did not go into depth in mentioning the linguistic or rhetorical differences, as the footnote (Hashiyah) reflected the scientific activity of his time, and showed his scientific personality, intellectual independence, and wide knowledge.
