Small and medium-sized enterprises integrated intelligent system for software development of solar panel design alternatives

The aim of this study is to develop an integrated intelligence system software which provides data analysis, process tracking of panel systems and model development that will help developing appropriate designs to meet certain amounts of electricity demands of small and medium sized businesses with the help of solar panels.Within the scope of this research, a model study has been conducted on the small and medium sized businesses operating in the wood sector. In this context, a survey has been applied to the companies operating in the wood sector in Bursa in order to identify their electricity consumption profiles. Within the framework of the results obtained from this survey, a design has been made which provides data on the appropriate panel systems and an extensive database on required elements of panel systems has been created for the users. In addition, a model solar energy system that provides 5,5 kW of average daily energy of Gazi University Industrial Technology Education Department has been established to meet the electricity needs of small and medium sized businesses with the help of solar energy panels.The current and voltage obtained from the model system on a daily basis has been made to be monitored from a dashboard attached to the system. An integrated software has been developed to calculate the voltage, current, energy, efficiency and daily sunshine duration in different time intervals. Interfaces have been created to monitor this system and to control it remotely.
