Abstract (EN)

This text arises from an controversy about what is music. Therefore, this thesis is primarily a text about the music then, it is a text about the position of music in modern society. Thus, this text considers the thought which lead to this kind of music. It tries to determine the direction of the transformation of the thought. In this same way, it tries to determine how the current transformation transforms the music. In this manner, this text firtsly, examines the thoughts of the founder of music sociology —Weber, Adorno, Simmel—. From this viewpoint, this thesis asserts that the contemporary position of music is reduced to a "commodity" level. In this direction, it turns to history and deals with music at different times and cultures.In this way, it develops a basic query: How has the popular version of Music influenced the aesthetic value of music?
