Kültürel bir miras alanında turist deneyimlerinin değerlendirilmesi: Perge örneği

Cultural heritage tourism has become the fastest growing segment of the tourism industry around the world. With the increasing competition between the destinations, it has become important for the destinations to promote their different attractions. Cultural heritage sites are important attractions for destinations. Furthermore, for destinations facing increased competition, it is also very important to understand the experiences and behavior of tourists from an academic perspective. This study aimed to measure tourist experience, authenticity, satisfaction, and behavioral intention of visitors to Perge Ancient City. In this regard, the survey was conducted in Perge Ancient City with a total of 321 respondents. The convenience sampling method was used in this study. Tourist experience and authenticity were measured in a cultural heritage site. As a result of analyses, it has been determined that Perge Ancient City visitors' perception of tourist experience and authenticity has a positive effect on satisfaction and behavioral intentions.
