The capital cities of the western Anatolian principalities in context of cultural legacy

In the process that emerged from the destruction of the Anatolian Seljuk State to the establishment of the Ottoman State, a period emerged in the Anatolian lands that we called the 'Principles Period'. Especially XIII. century and XIV. The principalities that dominated between the centuries are Aydınoğulları, Menteşeoğulları, Saruhanoğulları, Germiyanoğulları and Karesioğulları, which we also focus on in our study. It is possible to say that these principalities were the continuation of the Seljuk State and were a bridge in the transition to the Ottoman State. When we consider and examine the capitals of the principalities in the context of cultural heritage, we see that the previous states continued their traditions, added to the existing ones in terms of architectural works, and also made many innovations that we call the "Principles Period" innovation.
