Abstract (EN)

Blunt trunk trauma is a common injury. thoracic and abdominal injuries cause pediatric morbidity and mortality. The use of focused assessment with sonography in trauma (fast) in most centers has taken precedence over computerized tomography (CT). In the approach to trauma patients in emergency services, FAST can be applied in the first order in terms of imaging. In case of clinical suspicion, CT should be the second approach for advanced examination considering the trauma mechanism of the patient. The combined use of FAST and CT increases the likelihood of diagnosis in patients with suspected intrauterine injury. However, if there is a low or moderate risk and OTU supports these results, the outcome should be confirmed with CT. In our study; to investigate the efficacy of detecting intrauterine intra-abdominal pathology and determining the need for CT, which has been used for diagnostic purposes and has a rapid and low radiation risk.
