Abstract (EN)
In the first part of this study named "Dignity as a Way of Behavior in the Qur'an",the definition and analysis of the concept of "dignity", one of the Qur'anic concepts, has been made; dictionary and term meaning of the word, synonyms and antonyms and usage areas in the Qur'an has been studied. In the second part, in the light of the Qur'an the reflections of the dignity concept on the belief, worship, social life and behaviors of the individual have been discussed. Dignified behavior, is one of the behavioral models that is praised in the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and that will shape the believer's morality in a good way. This behavior, has a wide content peculiar to Islamic morality. İs the element that balances human actions. Dignity manifests itself in many behaviors of a person like speaking, walking, eating and drinking, dressing, laughing to crying, worshiping and morality. In addition, the dignified behavior that we encounter in social relations such as family, relatives, friendships and neighbors is a moral virtue that enables the person to take a dignified stance in the individual and social areas we mentioned.
