Concepts of destiny in the Quran

The issue of fate, which has been discussed for centuries, has an important position in the belief system of Muslims. It is especially important to understand correctly the effect of one's own will and divine providence on one's destiny. Analyzing the concepts related to fate in the Quran in this regard will help this. In this study conducted for this purpose, concepts related to fate in the Quran are discussed within the framework of the verses in which it is mentioned, by making use of various exegetical sources. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, the verses in the Quran in which concepts related to fate in nature are mentioned are mentioned, and in this context, the verses that point to the effect of Allah on the destiny of the servant and the effect of the servant on his own destiny are tried to be explained. Destiny in the universe expresses the order and measure that God has placed in the world. Although there are areas where God affects human destiny, He also has His own influence. In the second part, two main headings are tried to be explained under separate headings: in the first heading, the concepts meaning the share that Allah has ordained for the servant, and in the other heading, the concepts meaning the misfortune that Allah has ordained.When we look at the interpretations of the concepts mentioned in the verses about destiny, it becomes clear that there is a space provided for the servant to use his will in general terms. In the verses referring to destiny, there has always been an area where the freedom of will be attributed to the servant is recognized.
