Abstract (EN)

Sufism is an educational process that supports the spiritual development of the individual, and the stories used in this process contribute to the individual's internalization of moral and spiritual values. In this study, the role of stories in the context of Sufi education was examined and the instructive, guiding and inspiring aspects of these stories were discussed. First, the concept of the story, its types, purposes and characteristics were mentioned in the study. Then, evaluations were made on the stories taken from the Quran and classical works, and it was tried to be expressed that the stories have a facilitating effect on Sufi concepts and play an educational role in disciple-mentor relationships. It is seen that the stories create awareness in the individual's spiritual journey and support the training of the soul. This research aims to reveal that the stories are not only a form of narration but also a training method.
