Özet (EN)
A human continues his progress from his birth to his death in certain periods. Each period exists under the influence of the preceding one and affects the following one. Therefore, adulthood is the name of the period following the years of adolescence and youth and going on till the end of life.Today the reasons such as the conditions developing due to the changes in demographics and the structure of family, the advances in the fields of science and technology, and as a result of those conditions, the need of studying on human life as a whole are the important factors which have caused to appear adult education. Adult education has become even a current issue systematically in the last years, in fact it is as old as the history of mankind.In our study, it has been given information about adult education and the methods and techniques applied in adult education. In addition, our study includes the evaluation of the findings obtained by the help of the questionnaries applied to the the Quranic school instructors working in and around the city of Istanbul.
