Reciters-muhaddiths who have narrations in the Kutub al Sittah in the context of intersection points of the Qur'an-sunnah transmission

The verses of the Qur'an have been fully conveyed to next generations by word, pronunciation and meaning. The words of the Prophet (pbuh), his behaviors and approvals that protect the integrity of meaning of the Holy Qur'an, were identified to the finest detail and transferred to the next generations by Sahaba, Tabi'een and Taba al-Taba'een who followed them beautifully. The transmission of the Qur'an are carried out by kurrâ-rawis (reciters-narrators), and the transmission of Sunnah and the hadiths that formed it are carried out by the muhaddith rawis. The number of common rawis in the transferring of these two main sources of Islam is quite high. The process of turning the Qur'an Kareem into mushaf and making a copy from it -although there are a number of objections that are not really important- were completed without major problems. In the process of the transferring of Sunnah which is the second source of the religion of Islam, a number of objections the accusations have been directed to the rawis/narrators who came after the generation of sahaba. These objections and accusations have increased exponentially due to the occurrence of hadith fabrications in the first centuries, and the orientalists' partial approaches in the contemporary period. However when the historical process that reveals Islamic civilization is revised carefully, it will be noticed that some of the Reciters who are the carrier of the Qur'an, are also composed of the Muhaddiths who serve the transmitting of the Sunnah. Our Master thesis targetting to reveal the mentioned intersection points by means of example figures, aims to provide a holistic approach to the concept of the protection of the Qur'an and Sunnah together by way of the common rawis of the both sources.
