Abstract (EN)
For centuries, the people of Darfur were living together as if they forget their tribal and ethnic origins. Any problems arising from the echological or economical difficulties were to be solved within the societiy without they reache to greater volumes. But in the recent decades, because of the climate changes and droughts the scarcity of land and water increased as to the paralel increase of population and thus need to land and water. Here then, conflicts on the use of sacrce resources get more seroious and more often. The problems were neglected by the central government and this athmosphere were very suitable for the external interventions. Starting as the limited and local conflicts among the tribes, now problems got ethnical, political dimentions. By the contributions of regional and global powers the conflict were evaluated to the extend of insurrections in the spring of 2003. The Sudanese government could not idendify the problem correctly neither could solve the problem when it was smaller. They have tried to solve the problem by the use of army and accepted the contribution of some other armed gorups named Janjaweeds. The result was the killing of tens of thousands of civillians, burned villages, displaced millions of people and raped women, and children. Following these we see a humanitarian disaster in which people are starving to death, bad health conditions, lack of minimum requirements for human life. The Government of Sudan is either disregarding the humanitarian problem or trying to hide it. Unfortunatelly, the rebelling groups do not care much about the problems of their people but instead trying to get benefit from the situation for acquiring external political and monetary support. The golabal actors also don not care much about the humanitarian crises. They, also, are using these dramatical situations as the tools to persuade the international public opinion for the need of intervention to Darfur region by army to solve the problems. The Darfur Problem is not any more a local or regional problem but, although the victims are the local population, it is a game played by global actors. Each of parties fighting in Darfur are supported by different global powers. Thus the solution could be reached on the bases of global international relations.Sudan now, In the global power politics, with its geostrategical position, rich natural resources and land, is in the key position for controlling the region even the African continent. This strategical status has become a misfortune for the Sudanese people similar to the people of Irak and Afghanistan.Key Words: Conflict, Insurrection, Humanitarian Crises, Global Power, Solution, Geostrategical Position.
