Abstract (EN)
This research is a scanning sort of descriptive study. The sample for this study is consisted of foreign students at Beykent University. Well developed countries which have the highest share from the global Higher Education market,, benefit from the economic synergy created by foreign students' tuition fees, accomodation expenses, etc., despite their aging population. In 2012, foreign students' contribution to USA's economy reached 24 billion USD. This number was 18 bilion USD in United Kingdom and 15 billion USD in Australia. Eventhough Turkish Universities are capabile and well qualified to have a higher share from this attractive market, they can not take advantage of these qualifications well enough and they benefit from this market much less compared to other well developed or developing countries' universities. In 2013, the contribution of 26,000 foreign students living in Turkey to the Turkish economy was only 0.5 billion USD. In our research where we touch based on the strategies that governments and institutions shall follow in order to increase the number of foreign students in Higher Education, we have explained the marketing activities of Higher Education institutions on the grounds of global marketing strategies and "7P" theorem; and have presented suggestions Key Words : Higher Education, Foreign Student, Global Marketing, 7P
