In this study, The surface of Ductile Graphite Cast Iron was covered with VC respectively at 850, 900, 950° C for 2, 4, 6 hours by using TRD method. For this purpose, the samples which polished surfaces have been carried out to the coating process in the indoor environment by using salt bath consisting of salt, borax, Aluminum (Al) and Fe-V powder at specified temperatures and times. After the coating process which was made the section of the coating layer on the surface and transition zone were investigated. Thus, the section of the coating layer was investigated by using analysis methods such as; optical microstructure, SEM, EDS, Mapping and micro hardness. At the same time, XRD analysis was made for detection the phase structure of coating layer. Coating layer thickness with the clemex analysis system connected to the optical microscopy was obtained between 2,62 - 11,80 µm depending on temperature and process. At the same time, the morphologies of the obtained coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis coating layer with dotted EDS analysis and transition zone elements content were determined. As a result of micro hardness analysis, hardness of coating layer surface was investigated the most 4608 HV.
