Abstract (EN)
This thesis presents an analysis of how global power relations have instrumentalized the East Turkestan issue. The attitudes of major powers such as China, Russia, the United States, and India toward human rights violations in the region are shaped solely by their strategic interests, thereby deepening the impact of international politics on this issue. The study examines how these states' struggles for regional dominance have overshadowed human rights violations in East Turkestan and explores the implications of this situation on global politics. This research aims to contribute to the understanding of how international political dynamics complicate a regional issue. Focusing on the People's Republic of China, the study investigates whether the East Turkestan regional issue is being instrumentalized by global powers, with a particular emphasis on Russia, India, and the United States. By examining whether these states exhibit any sensitivity toward the issue, the study attempts to explain how the problem is addressed and the nature of the sanctions imposed.
