Abstract (EN)
Climate change can be caused by human or natural events. It is thought that the climate change experienced today is mostly caused by the wrong industrialization policies of human beings. With the industrial revolution, carbon emissions have increased considerably due to factors such as increased use of fossil fuels and major destruction. Increasing the amount of carbon and other gases released to the atmosphere above the required values is considered among the main causes of climate change. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) meetings are held annually throughout the world to assess the causes and consequences of climate change. According to the evaluation reports prepared in these meetings, it is seen that meteorological events such as precipitation, wind, temperature etc. in many regions of the earth have changed time-wise and locationally. Changes in meteorological events significantly affect the flow potential of streams in limited fresh water resources. Especially in recent years, the increase in demand for clean water and the limited amount of water resources required the use of available resources in the most appropriate way. Therefore, in the planning and projecting of water resources, the accounts should be solved correctly. While making the planning of these solutions, trend analysis used in global climate change studies among the future forecasting methods increases the importance. In this study; Bingöl-Göynük Stream and Basin, one of the water resources thought to be affected by climate change, were investigated. Changes in climate parameters of the Göynük basin, independent of direct human intervention, were evaluated by trend analysis tests commonly used in the literature. In addition, the effects of changes in climate parameters on Göynük Stream flows were investigated. The results obtained were interpreted and compared with the studies given in the literature.
