Abstract (EN)

The significance and the influence of information technology is increasingly felt nowadays. The process of globalization and the changing concept the production of new services, effective use of information technology information with has enabled them to achieve competitive advantage of companies. As a result of this change, the improvements related to information technology and technology management ought to be considered as strategic factors that need to be closely followed up by Turkish companies as well as other countries. Elementary insurance companies operating in the service sector, the economic value of information in order to manage them using according computer hardware, software and network systems is to ensure the continuity of the insurance system. In Turkey, the elementary insurance companies operating in the sector of information systems structure and functional changes of these systems have been studied comparatively discussed. In this study, elementary insurance sector of information technology utilization and business functions, their impact on be strong and use these systems of companies, market share, brand value and corporate governance in terms of advantages gained were identified.
